Learn the art of decorating wood with burn marks with Styro Pyrography

Pyrography – “writing with fire”, is the art of decorating wood with burn marks resulting from the controlled application of a heated object. Drawing was the first method that man used to tell stories and communicate and after the important discovery of fire, the early form of “wood burning” was invented.

The 2 Hour workshop will introduce you to Pyrography basics including timber choices, transferring images, tool types and uses and the important techniques to get started. You will  produce a small sample work that may be taken away and worked on further in your own time.
